What a Day!
Saturday 1st June
If you were not at the Vintage Revival Day in Steyning High Street on 5th May, you missed a corker! The Steyning & District Community Partnership Visitor & Tourism Committee, who put this one together, really excelled themselves. There were vintage cars, vans, & motor bikes galore plus steam engines, a fairground organ, rides & attractions, a miniature railway, singers, dancers, face painters and balloon artists, antique stalls, food and drink offerings and, of course, the wonderful eateries and shops of Steyning High Street. It was just good, old fashioned fun from start to finish and was a credit to all those involved in putting it together.
The only downside now is that it will be another 12 months before we see another such occasion – don’t miss it next time! Pictures only show a small taster, but they do serve to give an insight into the spectacle that took place.
