We say goodbye to these teachers from Steyning Primary School

Mrs Funnel has worked in the Speech and Language unit at Steyning Primary School for more than 25 years, patiently helping those children to grow in confidence and to be able to join in with mainstream education by supporting their learning both in the classroom and in the unit.

She has nurtured so many children and has been so caring and professional at all times.

Mrs Aldridge and Mrs Millar-Sarahs are two of the school's longest serving teaching assistants who have supported the children emotionally and academically over many years

They have been a tremendous help to the class teachers all of the time, helping them organise displays, taking intervention groups, teaching classes, in the absence of the class teacher, and just generally picking up the pieces that the class teachers do not have the time to do, because of the demands of the job.
