Thank you for supporting our open Gardens Day.

We had a wonderful response from Steyning residents and visitors, with 585 garden enthusiasts enjoying the amazing variety of gardens and the three delightful spots offering restorative tea and cake!

Some of the gardens have wonderful views; some are tucked away amidst the flint walls that are so much the character of our town who have made areas of magic out of small spaces; some are formal, and some created specifically to encourage wildlife.

There’s an apple expert, a bonsai enthusiast…and some wildlife enthusiasts who've created a wild swimming pool … and a surprise, a tiny front garden filled with surrealist handbags made from recycled materials!
