Steyning Arts Trail 3rd - 5th June 2022

Weekend 1 proved busy in Steyning, Bramber and Beeding. The sunny weather brought out local residents and friends and we welcomed visitors from Germany, USA, Shoreham, Lancing, Worthing, Henfield, Brighton, Gosport, Islington, and Guilford to name a few places.

Artists have had a lovely opportunity to chat about their latest work, and share their ideas and skills.

Some visitors have been booking onto artist led courses and workshops. Plenty of tasty cakes were eaten, tea and coffee have helped to keep people’s energy levels up in gardens, studios, and halls.

With our first weekend behind us we look forward to the next and last 3 day weekend Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th June 11:00 to 17:00 each day and your visiting Steyning Art Trail venues across Steyning, Ashurst, Bramber and Upper Beeding.

We have some suggestions on how you can remind yourself of some of the fantastic art that is waiting for you to enjoy.

•    Come again if you enjoyed it last weekend.
•    See the second half if you missed some of the venues.
•    Feel free to meet us for the very first time if its your first visit.

Our artists really look forward to welcome you to our usual eclectic mix of quirky houses and hidden gardens and in addition we have St Andrew’s Church Cottage, Steyning Athletics Club, Steyning High Street venues, St Nicholas Church and for the very first time we have Beeding Hub as a new communal venue.

Talent spotting via social media:

For those of you on Instagram and Facebook, we’ve been working hard to promote our trail and artists. Following @steyningarts on Instagram, and liking our Facebook page, is encouraged. Both feature regular posts of new work by Steyning Arts members. And of course, you can follow your favourites directly.

Our venues are open from 11:00 – 17:00 unless otherwise stated in the Trail Brochure. A number of our venues have refreshments this year and one or two have live demonstrations. See the brochure for more details.

If you have lost your brochure there are spares in the venues and the Museum Hub. We look forward to seeing you again or for the first time next weekend.
