Isabelle finds inspiration from the beautiful south downs, nearby woodlands and bodies of water.  A place has to create a special resonance within, to be savoured and captured in memory and the camera lens.

Atmospheric weather conditions will help to create the mood and tone, which usually has to be laid down quite quickly, not to loose the energy of the scene, back at the studio. The application of paint on canvas or board can dictate the style and journey of the picture. Isabelle paints mainly in oils and experiments with the addition of other media to create very different styles of artwork.
