Walking to Chanctonbury Ring

5.5 miles, hilly with wonderful views after climbing to Chanctonbury Ring.

Directions - Meet at the car park on South Downs Way, south of Washington.

At Washington Roundabout on A24 (Worthing-Horsham), take A283 towards Steyning.

Turn first right onto London Road and go past Frankland Arms.

In ¾ mile, just before A24, turn sharp left up rough road to car park.
