STEYNING FOR PEACE was founded by local residents in response to the turbulence and continuing conflict experienced in the world. Steyning for Peace is a group promoting peace through action in the community, raising awareness about conflicts, and injustice in society and worldwide, through workshops, talks, films and vigils. We aim to be the Peace we cultivate through meditation, and shifting our human understanding toward empathy, compassion, connection, and awareness as an integral part of nature.
