Our prime purpose is to try and retain the essential character of Steyning, making appropriate representations against any detrimental plans that would adversely affect the features and buildings. Steyning History Society

Steyning History Society was formed in 2007. They have monthly presentations from September to May on local national and occasionally international history aspects. Annual Subscription is £15 per person. Visitors always welcome at admission of £5.00 per person per meeting. Meetings are held at the Steyning Centre (Coombe Court) and commence at 7.45 pm. The Arts Society Steyning

The Arts Society is a leading arts education charity in the UK. The Arts Society Steyning (TASS) is your local affiliated society with some 200 members who are interested in a broad range of major forms of arts including music, painting, architecture, sculpture, literature and much more. Our new programme includes ten monthly lectures delivered by accredited experts, occasional coach trips to leading art galleries/exhibitions and a series of life drawing classes organised in cooperation with Steyning Grammar School.
