Our prime purpose is to try and retain the essential character of Steyning, making appropriate representations against any detrimental plans that would adversely affect the features and buildings. Steyning History Society was formed in 2007. They have monthly presentations from September to May on local national and occasionally international history aspects. Annual Subscription is £15 per person. Visitors always welcome at admission of £5.00 per person per meeting. Meetings are held at the Steyning Centre (Coombe Court) and commence at 7.45 pm.
