Who Cares? Steyning PPG Does!
Friday 15th November - 14:00 - 16:00Steyning Patient Participation grouoThe Hub.Beeding.Our AGM will begin at 2.pm, but this will be followed at around 2.30 by an opportunity to find out what could be important to all of us as we ageA local solicitor, Rebecca Louis, will speak on Lasting Power of Attorney and what individuals and families need to consider.
There will also be a short presentation from Carla Booty who is the Frailty Coordinator attached to our Practice, on ReSPECT (Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment) This plan is nationally recognised as the best way to identify the level of intervention that a person might wish for in an emergency situation.
We will also have information on Attendance Allowance and Carers Allowance and how to apply for that financial support.
There is no cost to attend this important event. REfreshments will be available to purchase on the day.
