What was life like for Steyning’s young people after the Norman Conquest? Join museum volunteer, sociologist, and local history enthusiast Barbara Chandler for a lively glimpse into the years following the Battle of Hastings up to publication of the Domesday Book in 1086 and discover how conquest would have transformed everyday life for Steyning’s youngest residents.
