Concert by the Tredici Wind Ensemble
Tuesday 4th August12:30 - 13:15The Tredici Wind Ensemble are proud to present a lunchtime concert on Tuesday 4th August at 12.30pm at the Steyning Parish Church of St Andrew and St Cuthman. We consist of 13 players: two flutes, two oboes, two clarinets, two bassoons, four horns and a double bass. We are all either local music teachers or keen amateur players, and have been meeting regularly since October 2022 to play arrangements of classical pieces mostly taken from the online collection created by arranger Patrick Clements. We all love to play together and are delighted to present this, our second concert. We will be playing Ritual Fire Dance by De Falla, Serenade for 13 Wind Instruments op. 7 by Strauss, The Wand of Youth Suite No. 2 by Elgar, and Polovtsian Dances by Borodin.
